Dravos was raised as a lord in the court of lukerein, with his brother Xander, and his sister, Claradell. His Father Derethore (Der-e-thor) was an impulsive man, who was tempered by his wife Delphine who was famed for her ability to stay composed in the harshest time.
Growing up Dravos found himself to be weaker than the rest of the Strongjaw clan, he would find that most of the times his brother Xander would defend him when he was needed. While his sister would enforce their parents' ideals (down to the point that Dravos) was scared of his sister, she would never go too far however but still used that fear to enforce when the parents needed something doing.
By the age of 11 Dravos found that his brother had run away one day without warning or a note, this forced Dravos to take up where his brother had left off as he was now named the next in line. putting pressure on the young lord.
By the next year on October 17th the rest of his family had disappeared in a similar circumstance no trace of them, as if they just disappeared. Dravos had to come to the realisation that he may be the last Strongjaw in lukerein, aside from distant relations of whom they are elsewhere in the world, as far as I'm concerned, they aren't on this continent. But now in case of threat from a potential anti Strongjaw faction, Dravos had to be hidden till he became of age. So, he was sent to live with a scholar who was to be his adoptive father.
Life living with the scholar was different than living in the court. And in the 8 years that he spent being hidden he made enemies with the daughter of the reus clan Agatha whose life mission (based on Dravos' opinion) is to terrorise Dravos as much as possible.
After the 8 years of torment under the worst life possible, Dravos was finally able to take his place as Lord of Lukerein. However, his adopted father reached a grave fate, when Dravos heard the news that his adoptive father, who cared for him for all the time he knew him, the man who taught him his first bit of magic, had passed away, Dravos lashed out getting arrested (not for the first time in the 8-year period). But the high king of Helbram gave Dravos a choice to postpone his return or take to the cells. choosing to postpone it the high king being fair gave Dravos the opportunity to learn at the college of Yorkhelm.
