Personal history

Shannon started life as an orphan, eventually adopted by an alchemist who wanted a brother for his sick daughter. The alchemist was looking for a cure for her illness, eventually, an organisation called the Blood Ravens heard of his efforts and wanted to twist them to their agenda. When he refused to comply they raided his lab, killing both the alchemist and his daughter.
Shannon managed to escape with his life, having to live on the streets with what little he could salvage from the alchemist's home in the aftermath. He put his anger into training himself, hearing rumours of an organisation called the Onyx Brotherhood that specialised in protecting people and hurting those who harmed others. Eventually, once he was old enough he was inducted and trained properly. He was given small jobs to build him up to his first real job, protecting a bard who had pissed off some nobles.

Education

Shannon has basic education, enough to get him by. All other education was through his organisation.

Employment

Shannon has only ever worked for the Onyx Brotherhood, since he was 15. The Onyx Brotherhood are an organisation that are swords for hire but they tend to prefer jobs that require helping the innocent. They're a shadowy organisation but do good.

He's made it to getting his first real job with the Brotherhood.

Mental Trauma

Shannon has severe PTSD in regards to anything relating to the incident and the Blood Ravens. His emotional growth was stunted by his adoptive father and sister's deaths and he's haunted by them.

He's not too smart but he seems to be cunning and good at strategic fighting. He has the social skill of a brick.

Morality & Philosophy

Shannon has a very strong sense of justice and sees no problem in killing if he deems it necessary. He believes wholeheartedly in his organisation's values, which are that you must give yourself to the innocent, you protect them with your life and you complete the job or die trying, honour in death.
