The Adventures of Tom Bombadil

Night started out fun. Chatted with Izzy, and watched her and her brother interact and bet whether he could get past some sort of 'Jarvis' system of hers. Googling says it's a Marvel thing... I need to get that 'must watch' list from Izzy to catch up on that whole 'universe.' New mage named Tom was introduced to the 'extra' world a bit... I felt it best to not explain that even though I was 'alive' I was not like them, though he did seem confused when I mentioned using a contract and I'm not sure he quite understood what they are. Another to add to the 'best not to explain just yet' category. Trevor was quite pleased with his pocket full of coins.

Then took a job to trade for what I was told were enhancement drugs. Ian warned me to run and not put myself in danger, so when the job went south quickly because the police already seemed to know the trade was happening, I was ready to grab the stuff and gate out. Shouldn't have bothered... the drugs could be a lot worse, and the police came to the Continental almost immediately after. I hid, and now there's a mess to unravel. Rock and hard place. If only we had the fictional Tom... a hearty song would've been both delightful and helpful with all of this.
