Body Features

Kaenrae has no known or defined natural size, due to the fact that he can change his body size at will with his magic. He often either stands at a great height - from his feet to the top of his head - of around 10 meters (32.80 feet) - from his feet to the top of his head - or even higher - sometimes the height of a mountain or the size of a planet. Other times, he stands around 2 meters (6.56 feet) for convenience sake. His body length from his chest to the base of his tail is the same as his height, while his tail is twice that length. He’s known for his long body and tail, and a boastful wingspan large enough to wrap himself in.
The length of his tongue is always equivalent to his height, and the size of his penis is a quarter of that.

Identifying Characteristics

Kaenrae's scales are renowned to be a purple dark enough almost to look black. He has a bright, violet glowing tongue and penis, and a set of metallic horns aiming backward which adorn his head. Spikes starting from the top of his head run down his back, down to the base of his tail, all aiming backward as well. Whatever his size is, his tongue can roll out long enough to reach the base of his tail. From the bottom of his neck down to his underbelly, the scales are a slightly brighter purple than the rest of the scales on his body. He has a long tail with no spikes, and two wings large enough to curl up in. He bears a large scar across his left wing resembling a bite mark. Claw-like points are at the end of both wings, and the membranes of his wings are slightly brighter, matching his underbelly.
 
His Realm Breaker Affinity causes his eyes to shine purple, whilst his right eye lights up with a purple flame. It also bleeds, and the Realm Breaker marking surrounds the iris. Purple flames seep from between his teeth, and small embers of the purple fire flicker from his body.
Entering a further state of his Realm Breaker Affinity, causes more of his body to become engulfed in purple flames and shadows. The flames and shadows form spikes across his wings, while sharpening his claws. Two Ethereal dragon heads made of dark, purple fire form beside him. His right eye bleeds even more in this state.

Special abilities

Kaenrae wields the Realm Breaker Affinity, a form of magic which allows him to manipulate the reality of the world surrounding himself. By thinking of "rules" inside his head, he can warp reality to these "rules" to become definite, defying all other natural laws entirely. These "rules" apply to all fabrics of reality, not confined to warping the realm but also warping one's-self and others at will as well. The "rules" have a limit toward their capabilities though, and cannot allow him to use magic which he does not naturally possess.
 
He can by no means revive anyone, but can undo the actions of his magic, only under extreme circumstances. As well as that, these "rules" must be held consistently within the conscious mind, and will be lost the very moment he stops thinking of it for too long. Thus, Kaenrae can be caught off-guard quite easily. If the Realm Breaker Affinity takes control of Kaenrae, the berserk-state of mind can subconsciously create "rules" with no limit, but will rapidly eat away at the Essence - the life force - of those nearby, as well as his own. Kaenrae is best attuned to the Flamma Base Affinity - best attuned to Abilities relating to fire and/or heat. If Kaenrae is wounded, faint flickers of purple fire will sometimes cover his wounds, either easing the pain or even numbing it completely. Kaenrae can also warp to areas within a close range of his vicinity, or seemingly vanish, usually leaving behind a dark, purple fog.
 
When he uses his Realm Breaker Affinity, he can summon runes anywhere around his vicinity. He can either detonate, warp to, or stand on these runes like floating platforms regardless of placement or angle. This state also summons two ethereal dragon heads to fight beside him. His Essence gains immense animosity when in the Realm Breaker state.
 
Kaenrae can also detect the 'Essence' of existing things - the inner-properties of those inanimate, and the life force of those animate. By detecting the Essence of something he can read into what Abilities they have. He can also read into a number of other things, as detecting one's Essence can exponentially heighten his other senses.

Mentality

Personal history

Kaenrae, at an early age not long after hatching, had lived a rather harsh upbringing; first orphaned, his own kin treated him as a 'cursed child' for his magic, casting him away from all other Blight Dragons and leaving him to fend for himself. Too young to live alone, he was later adopted by a larger fire dragon, but even then was abandoned by them as well. Once again unable to fend for himself, a shadowy race fuelled by ill-intent known the "Corrupt" found Kaenrae all alone, and captured him - dragging him deep into an abyss of negativity. With his already-tortured mind, the influence of the Corrupt led him to lose control of his own magic, and in this Cursed state, he began to slaughter all he came across. Throughout the many he had murdered, the entirety of his own race was massacred by his own hand, leaving him as the last of his own kind. It took him a couple years to break free from his Cursed state, but all was lost by then, much of his own realm in tatters. The Corrupt were forced out by him, but in turn the people of his realm wanted him out as well, and thus, with his magic, he left that world.
Since that point-in-time forward, his Realm Breaker Affinity lurks within him - often dormant - constantly seeking to take control of his body like the Corrupt once did. Many times it has succeeded, leading to the complete annihilation of many other realms Kaenrae has come across - one loss in particular leading to a brighter outcome for the Blight Dragon. Amidst a battlefield, with both sides vanquished besides himself, Kaenrae mourned his own incapability of suppressing the Realm Breaker Affinity, which led to the death of his allies in this realm, whom trusted him, and in that sorrow his own Essence gave life to a small familiar, now named "Kay". Being born of Kaenrae's Essence - including a portion of the Realm Breaker Affinity - Kay lives on as the sole creature that cannot ever be killed by Kaenrae's magic.
Through many of his endeavours he has encountered realms, and denizens of those worlds, who have eased his aggressive, cold nature, bringing light to the softer side he hides. The most significant encounters to him, besides Kay, are Zorro, Via and Azula.

Mental Trauma

Kaenrae, for a long time in his life, had lived feeling a lack of acceptance. He had later embraced the life of an outcast, and greatly regrets everything his Cursed-self had done. The slaughter of his own kind also weighs down on him, and thus, he becomes stressed when unable to set a selfless stance to help others out, or even finds it difficult to accept being considered as a truly good person. He dislikes being seen in positivity by others and feels as though everything good he does for others is simply atonement for his past. Kaenrae also constantly fears how easily the Realm Breaker Affinity can take control of him.

Personality

Likes & Dislikes

Kaenrae takes a fair interest in toying with others who're willing to submit to him, and often portrays an obsession over inciting fear into others. His favourite food is pork, and his favourite drink is ginger beer. He enjoys having the company of others from time-to-time. That said, he often also enjoys time alone as well, and prefers that time to be left uninterrupted. He enjoys flights, and spends his leisure time often utilising his Realm Breaker Affinities at low degrees for simple entertainment. Kaenrae loves the warmth, and favours being inside caves/dens.
 
Kaenrae often prefers not to be called cute/adorable/etc. and hates when someone worries about him.

Religious Views

Kaenrae believes in a saying he was taught by Via; "All sounds, even spoken words, are the 'Songs of Life', meaning that every sound tells a story, and can even hold meaning. The belief also tells that music holds the greatest emotional power, in which Kaenrae holds to hear as much as Via does.
He often keeps this belief to himself as well, but will often trill tunes to those he is comfortable around.
