Hi, "Ma"

I know I haven't written to you in a long time but I'm now so far away, I don't think Tina can make the trip. So this is more of a journal now. I hope Kers is doing good and helping you guys out.
So much has happened and I don't want to worry you so I will just say: we saved someone from a gang and we also saved a very nice minotaur family from some funky.... fungi monsters! We're trekking through the jungle and my team is looking after me like they promised and they're mostly doing fine, though I still worry about miss Rosalynd.
About looking out for me... Gwyn told me that he looked for trace of my adoption at the orphanage (his mum works there) and couldn't find anything. It makes me mad and uncomfortable to think that you lied to me, and that I'd have to find out through him. I was conflicted about maybe looking for my birth parents, having dreams about them and developing weird new abilities but you have given me so little to navigate this new chapter. It makes it so hard when it could be so exciting. I think I still love you the same, but when I see you we'll have to talk about where I really come from, unless it just drops on me out of nowhere like everything I've learned so far.
