Soon after the Creator Gods willed existence into being, primordial energies began to mold themselves into consciousness. Indulgence and power manifested as Asmodeus. He soon separated himself from other primordial deities in his own plane of anguish and oppression, molded by his twisted vision.
 
Ruler of the Nine Hells, Asmodeus allowed Tiamat a lair in Avernus, the topmost layer of Hell- where a blood war between demons and devils has been raging since the dawn of time. No one dares set foot in her territory despite the constant struggle to gain ground in the blood war.
