Jack Taylor was born in a lab on earth before the New Space age. As a result of secret government experiments, he is one of the few surviving members of the human race who can claim near immortality. Due to his genes, he is immune to all age-related diseases, cancer, and most viruses. He became friends with Enceladus Graves shortly before she left earth on the generation ship.
