Entry 1, Shipwrecked
 
I managed to convince my fellow captives to escape the prison ship, and good thing too for not long after the ship ran aground and began to sink. We swam to shore but one of our party nearly drowned when they became paralyzed under suspicious circumstances....I'll have to keep an eye on these new found friends of mine.

I found the body of a dead mage, I must confess I could barely believe my good fortune. I reapropreated the mages robes for my own uses but more importantly, he had a journal detailing a mission tasked to him by the mages guild themselves! Surly if I carry out the mission on his behalf, they will welcome me into their ranks.
 
Entry 2, The Hagraven
 
The mage's mission was to investigate rumours of dark magics here on this small island, and dark magics there was. We found a reachmen camp and dispatched the savages, in their encampment we found a hagraven, deep in the midst of her rituals. We slew the beast and rested in the reschmens camp.
 
Entry 3, A Change in the Winds
 
I spent some time dissecting the hag raven corpse today to see what I could learn. I managed to harvest her briar heart, the source of her necrotic power.

Meanwhile, the group found a ship and we set off for Sentinel where the redguard assured us we would find rest and shelter.
 
Entry 4, Smoke on the Water
 
There was an explosion in the harbor last night, we have been tasked with investigating it
 
The redguard is much wealthier than I expected. He is of a prosperous family known as the Tawils, who own a Vinyard and other businesses here in Sentinel.

I visited the the library, Sentinel continues to suprise me! I almost believed I was back in the isles for a moment. I found some information on the Darken Specters, a group of radicals who detest magic. It will be my pleasure to the them down. The library contains many useful objects and people, I intend to spend more time here.
 
Entry 5, The Blight
 
Turns out Cletus' vineyard problem was more nefarious than we previously thought. My research had all but uncovered the blight as the culprit when a new arrival confirmed my hypothesis. a sly Argonian by the name of Peeen-ja, (im sure he'll get along well with young Havem Longsnake.) claimed to be an expert on matters pertaining to Deadra and informed us that believed the vineyard blight to be a result of a Deadric infestation. with his help I was able to prepare a concoction of purification which we applied to the vineyard well. immediately a dreamora leapt from the well, which we aptly dispatched. All in a day's work.
 
Entry 6, Oasis
 
We started out on an expidition to the darkin shrine, located in the Alakir desert, near to Sentinel. Along the way we stopped at an oasis where we were abused by a giant scorpion and her brood, cleetus, a man of many talents it seems, nearly managed to tame the beast until Steve stepped in. After we slew the scorpions I took some time to investigate the oasis fauna, I gathered a few desert roses that were growing by the edge, and we set off again
 
Entry 7, Darkin Shrine
 
Far to busy trudging around the dessert to keep a proper Journal right now, but we reached the shrine and struck an accord with the restless spirit of a former Darkin Blade. I plan to update again upon my return to Sentinel
 
Entry 8, Defeating the Darkin
 
We returned to Sentinel today and brought our evidence of the Darkin plot to Commander Saraad. He inducted us as members of the Order of the Candle and sent us to clear out the Darkin hideout as our first task. We succeeded in purging the terrorists from their safehouse without difficulty, and were commended once more by the commander. Then it was time for a well earned rest in a real bed, a productive venture if I do say so myself
 
Entry 9, The Grand Sentinel Games
 
I met my new Apprentice from the Order of the Candle, he seems at least somewhat competent and was able to acquire some basic items for me. we'll see what kind of telescope he can find before i pass any further judgement.

What an exciting day! it seems fate truly meant for me to begin my journey in Sentinel. We received a letter this morning from the king of Sentinel, inviting us to a royal banquet with the Empress Kateriah her self! Only a fortnite on the mainland and already a chance to meet the Empress of the Empire, not bad, even by my standards.

If that wasn't enough, we also competed in The Grand Sentinel Games, to which the Empress and King of Sentinel were in attendance. I was unsure about my participation in the games at first, but it seems I am a natural! i was quite effective in assisting my team in the objectives of the games and was able to put on a spectacle for the crowd with my magic, earning their admiration. we were inducted as full members of the Arenas guild and have earned the rank of Pit Dog. I can hardly wait for our royal dinner now.
 
Entry 10, Her Imperial Magisty
 
What a grand and intoxicating presence. Truly Empress Katariah is as magnificent as I imagined, She had to need for theatrics nor displays of force or grandeur. She spoke with a soft but confident tone, never forceful but never once a wavering trace of doubt. Even to hear my name mentioned next to hers filled my chest with pride. But to be honored at her banquet, to meet and speak to her face to face while she praises my accomplishments... Truly tonight will be a memory to treasure. Empress Katariah is more than just a Mer on the Throne, no I see now that she is so much more, she is a voice of the people, ALL the people.

The Empress has a task for our little group. I shall not disappoint her
 
Entry 10.5, A Sudden Turn of Events
 
For the first time in a while we had an opportunity for some rest and relaxation. many of the party seemed grateful and took the chance to spread out and take some time apart. I myself was still reeling from my audience with the Empress and was in no mood to lie about aimlessly. I decided to head to the Order Headquarters and make use of their facilities, For I had an idea for a new way i might manipulate the Aether to my will. My apprentice and I made great progress the first day, and I felt confident we could perfect the spell soon. On the way out I spoke with Commander Saraad who had exciting news for me: The Imperial Battlemage has apparently taken an interest in me at the request of the empress herself. I was told he would be attending the Order headquarters the following day, and i should be prepared to demonstrate my abilities.

I heard some strange noises tonight, sounded like a portal or a gateway opening, and to make matters worse, Peeenja and Steve were missing. i investigated some strange footprints near the rear gate of the manor and alerted the guard, but could make no further sense of the matter.

This morning it appears all hell has broken loose, apparently some legionnaires took it upon themselves to stage a witch-hunt, and Burned the Priestess of ____ at the stake. I cant imagine what they were thinking but I cant help but feel that my friends are involved in this somehow. Prince Phastos and his Prienstess of Sitkal have lead a demonstration to the city, they occupy the downtown, chanting and carrying out religious ceremony's while also denouncing the Crowns and the Empire. no good can come of this
 
I met with Battlemage Remus Pelentine today after my Apprentice and I finished work on my new spell. He said he spoke on behalf of the Imperial Battlemage and carried out an interview with me. he seemed impressed with my ability to pass his tests and indeed I even bested him in a game of chess at the end. Henceforth I have been inducted into service of the Imperial Legion as an Agent, and i have been given tasks already. It is truly extraordinary how fast my plans are proceeding, Auriel guides my path.
 
Entry 11: The Expidition Begins
 
Sentinel is a powder keg, waiting for the slightest spark to set it ablaze. As much as I'd like to help the current situation, part of me is extremely grateful that we are departing Sentinel today, hopefully it still stands when we return. King Farahd summoned us this morning to tell us that the expedition to Satakal had become a priority mission and that we should depart immediately after he addressed the subjects. Their reaction was rather mediocre, and I can't say I blame them. This situation seems beyond our control, but I will do my duty regardless.
 
I had a chance to speak to Theodane around the fire tonight, I believe he and I shall get along well. We were also visited by a curious spirit who led us to an oaisis, unfortunately the spirit did not appreciate preeeja diving into is pool and we regrettably had to defend ourselves
 
Entry 12: Temples, Murders, and Mysteries
 
A storm rolled in this morning: Forked lightning littered the sky, but not a drop of rain fell, what a cursed land these deserts are. I spent the morning chasing strikes, trying to find one of the God Crystals for enchantress Ferro Roche with no luck. a couple of our camels however took the full force of one such strike, killing them instantly. we'll have to make do without them. unfortunately, my stone-hunting meant i was indisposed while the party came up against a calculated ambush by a group of Rikers, a bloody battle ensued while the Rikers retreated into a nearby Temple. eventually Steve was able to broker peace with the Rikers in exchange for some meager goods and provisions. we were able to make use of the temples healing waters along with some villagers also caught in the trap. The villagers, Nami and Johjin, had family in Marose and offered us shelter, so we set out together.
 
The night had one more surprise for us however, a body lay on the road to marose, badly impaled. after some quick restoration i was able to resuscitate the man, who immediately delved into a mad rant about Mehrunes Dagon and the cycle of change, before snatching my dagger and slicing his own throat! Whatever manuscript Glaorinil has sent me here to find in obviously more dangerous than he led on. the town of Marose is odd and very quiet, but luckily Nami and Johjin had room for myself, Steve, Jonus, and the Knight Sister, while the rest of the group went to find the nearby stable.
 
Entry 13 - It's a Trap!
 
It's seems our exhaustion lead to us overlooking some strange signs in the village and let our guard down last night, our men in the stables were kidnapped by cultists lead by father Ajax. Luckily the knight sister awoke the rest of us and we were able to evade them along with the redguard family, however, it appeared their parents were in with the cult. Conveniently, the cultists lead us to the temple of which Glaorinil had spoke. We dispatch the guards by the door and infiltrated the temple, ending with a portal to a am external plane. It would have been fascinating to conduct experiments there but unfortunately time was not on our side. We arrived to late to save Cleetus Kindman, and Ajax sacrificed him in order to bring forth an iron avatar of mehrunes. Fortunately we were able to dispatch the atronach, freeing the remaining men and recovering Kindmans' body. I also recovered the manuscript that seemed to feed Ajaxs power along with his hammer that I wrapped for safe keeping. We should probably entrust the weapon to powers above us.
 
Entry 14 - The Voyager
 
It was a solem morning as we left Marose with Cleetus' body. Our hosts kindly purified his body so that it would last the journey to Skaven. Theodane and the Knightsister decided to return to Sentinel to gather guards and officials to take care of the now decimated town of marose, the cult had worked its fingers up into the highest reaches of the towns goverment and who knows what remnants might still be lurking nearby. I will miss my chats with Theodane but I agree with his decision, to leave this town as it is would be a mistake. The Knightsister assured us she would catch up before we made it to Satakal.
 
After a day's travel we came across a peculiar tavern named the Voyager. The innkeeper, a nord named Nooke, was a strange fellow. Seemingly indifferent to everything around him, he offered very little in terms of information or even conversation. However, upon awakening the next morning, we found the Inn had magically moved itself to the mountains outside of Skaven. In addition, Jonus who had been rude to the inkeeper, found himself outside, butt naked, and unable to enter the Inn. After retrieving his equipment and saying our thanks to Nooke, we pressed on. I would love to investigate this tavern more, but we have pressing matters at present.
 
Later today Jonus' nose led us to a skooma den inhabited by Khajit refining moon sugar. We dispatched the gang and struck a deal with the leader, information in exchange for her life. She told us of dealings with a mysterious man known only as the Gentleman, who ordered the skooma to be produced and sent to the Darken Specters for distribution. I'm not yet sure how this all ties in to the Darken, but Jonus seems to be involved in this as well.
 
Entry 15 - Avatar Diagna
 
Another interesting day as fate would have it. We encountered an old man on the road who recognized havem and revealed himself to be Diagna, former avatar of the Make Way God. He offered a promise of guidance to havem if we helped him deal with a Medusa. We slew its henchmen and convinced her to accept diagnas help in cleansing the curse and allowing her to pass on.
 
Entry 16 - Skaven
 
Skaven is littered with addicts and beggars, and the residents are far from hospitable. I have a bad feeling about leaving Cleetus body with that ex of his. The leader of the Hawks did not seem to take kindly to sarrads letter either, too wrapped up in their own schemes to care about the troubles of other cities.
 
Entry 17 - theives, addicts, and other shady dealings
3E 152, 5th day of Rain's Hand
 
A young girl aproched us today asking for help finding her missing brothers. I can't say exactly what compelled me to help, but the girl seemed in genuine need and apparently the guards were of no use to her. Upon investigating her home, we deduced that her two brothers had been kidnapped by a gang of skooma dealers in order to force their father to pay his debts. We found the man in the midst of a multi day bender, lying passed out in a skooma den, we roused him and convinced him to set up a meeting with the dealers. Then we decided to meet with the gentleman, perhaps with our information we can come to a mutually beneficial agreement to rid this city of the darkin
 
Entry 18 - The Sting
3E 152, 5th day of Rain's Hand (Eve)
 
Peeen-ja and Steve met up with us at the Gentlemens observatory and we all swapped information. There is no doubt in our minds now that the guard and the darkin are in league together, poisoning this city with skooma to raise the funds for an army. Not only will skaven not be able to supply aid to Sentinel, but if we allow this problem to fester, it will divert resources away from Sentinel. The party of us, accompanied by a Farhad and a few gentlemen, went with Jonda to the Sting, myself and Steve went in without weapons and the rest managed to find the back entrance, jumping into action together we were able to divide and conquer the darkin, leaving no survivors. We then filled our pockets with as much dirty money as we could carry and disappeared back to the observatory. The gentlemen congratulated us on a job well done and made plans to return to the hide out to recover whatever they could
 
Entry 19 – The Masquerade
3E 152, 6th day of Rain's Hand (Morn)
 
This morning, after solving the Darkin riddle, I encountered the Knight-Sister who asked me along to help her with a task. Leaving the party behind at the bird house, we set out to gather allies and information. I was not prepared for what our snooping would uncover. Every thread of fate he have ever encountered has seemingly wove itself into a tangled, unreadable, knot centered here in Skaven. My research today is too convoluted to summarize in a short paragraph, but I have learned a great many things, some more disturbing than others… Unfortunately, our efforts were too little too late, and we watched a huge explosion tear through the roof of the bird house. As the vampires poured into the city streets, spreading mayhem, The Knight-Sister and myself raced towards the bird house to rejoin the party.
 
Entry 20 – The Repurposed Prison
3E 152, 6th day of Rain's Hand (Eve)
 
The Knight-Sister and I rejoined the party at the bird house, some of them were badly wounded and Handsome Jack himself was left incapacitated, we left him with the healers and set of as fast as possible after the Vampire who had taken the crown. When we reached Cleetus’ homestead, we found it in a state of disaster, the gate had been knocked down and many of the tunnels seemed to have been blown apart from the inside. We even found the corpse of an unlucky staff member, being fed upon by a vampire who scurried away into the tunnels. We set off after the vampires and engaged in skirmishes with them as well as Dwemer constructs still inhabiting the ruin. One such construct seemed to want to aid us in exterminating the Vampires, and came along with us to help, Jonus and myself were able to use one of the Dwemer switch boards to disable some of the constructs, but in the end we engaged in a three way melee between ourselves, the vampires, and a Dwemer Centurion. With the Centurion felled, we turned our attention the Vampiress before she could escape, however, we were not quick enough to prevent her from lifting the ash’ab’a ward keeping the other vampires at bay. This is going to be a Long Night.
 
Entry 21 - The Tomb
3E 152, 7th day of Rain's Hand
 
We were too late to prevent the Vampire clan from rising out of their crypt. The ancient seal, placed by the ash’a’ba ancestors of the Kindman Clan was broken by the Vampiress, and the Clan burst from their prison in a flurry of wings, making for the mountains. However, we were also able to uncover an old base of operations for the ash’a’ba within the dwemer ruin-turned-prison. Within, we found the body of Cleetus’ father, along with a copy of the original treaty of the kindman land. We also recovered some important iformation, including a lead of the Tomb of the Kindmen, where we can supposedly claim the “Dawnbreaker” a weapon of Meridias’ design that will help us in ridding the vampires.
 
Entry 22 - The Mansion
3E 152, 8th day of Rain's Hand
 
The Vampires have occupied a mansion in the mountains and Merida has tasked us in ridding them. Strangely, this place seems to have been inhabited for some time, and well maintained. It’s possible the vampires have long standing allies here.
