The calm, stern owner of the Titan's Tail Tavern. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and is very strict about money, never bartering prices but always keeping them fair. He is Akane Kojima's husband.

Haru is a large bronze dragonborn with a very calm, almost sleepy personality. He's older, but always happy to lend a hand to those in need. For the right price, of course. Haru is the owner of the Titan's Tail Tavern. He's very stringent with his money, but considers his prices fair, and as such will not barter on them. He also doesn't accept tips personally, but will let his staff take any tips they earn home. He keeps his rooms and kitchen immaculate.

His wife, Akane, owns the local rice farm, so he is often experimenting with new rice dishes when harvest season is in swing. He partially blames himself for his late younger son, Kaito's death, but deep down he knows there was nothing more he could have done to try to stop the boy's illness. He is proud of his remaining son, Haruto, for agreeing to attend a university, but there is a lingering fear that he may never see his child again.
