Session 1: Chasing down leads

General Summary

A group of denizens from the city of Foraminis gathers at a temple of Wee Jas on the mid-level of the city. There Guinevere introduces herself and explains the details of the attacks of the Ruby Ravens AKA the Bloody Chickens on their city. Four attacks so far on the mid-lower city have caused a couple dozen of causalities. One of the causalities was that of Edill, Edith's daughter. On their way to investigate the site of her death a group of Ruby Ravens ported in. The leader of which abandoning the group when she noticed the large group of well armed adventurers approaching. After quickly dispatching the Ruby Ravens, the adventurers collect their loot. William finds a note detailing the job of the thugs and Zsumakshi finds a letter on the young wizard.   After the combat they track down a witness (Philip) from a previous attack who told them about a Ruby Raven that ran into the Undercity. Seeing a suspicious figure from the Undercity watching them, they chase him down only to fall into his ambush. They kill most of his companions, capture, and interrogate the cloaked figure. He tells them he saw a girl matching the description of the girl that Philip told them about running around the Undercity, however when he followed her into an alley she wasn't there, and it was a dead end. He led the party to the dead end to find it no longer to be a dead end. The wall to outside the city lies beyond.
