This campaign is a sword and sorcery sandbox experience, initially focused on treasure-hunting, exploration, and problem-solving. Adventure awaits beyond the walls of great city-states, in a wilderness riddled with ancient secrets.
OSR
This is an OSR-style campaign, which uses random encounters and wilderness exploration. Players are encouraged to use caution, interrogate the fiction, and think outside the box. Combat is generally lethal, and should be avoided unless the party has an advantage.
Faction Play
The land of Yor is a living, breathing place where factions pursue competing agendas in the background, generating grist for adventure. PCs can oppose or support a faction, and aspire to build a faction of their own.
Player Agency
Player agency is of the utmost importance. The GM doesn't provide a pre-packaged story or campaign arc — but rather provides the opportunity for fun through emergent storytelling, driven by player decisions.
