Session 8: Something evil is stirring Report

General Summary

The party starts off the adventure by taking a few minutes to talk about lycanthropy and what that could mean for Wyren. They then proceed to head into the Hob Cave and find the hobs slain, and curiously enough, the guards they had seen with the merchant. At the tomb of Archram  they find a strange pair of boot prints turning into a large clawed foot pattern.    A long rest occurs. During this time Sirnai "Spirit of Safe Journies, the River Huntry" comes to Tak and is proud of the progress he has made. She is also impressed that he found the axe that she once carried when she died and was changed into a Chellon. If he finds lost souls and helps them pass on to the The Eternal Domain the axe and he will gain strength. She also tells him that he should follow the map that the party found.  

15th day of the Orange Moon 436

  The next day Shei hears the woman from the hamlet looking for her son Fredrick, a young boy, 13 winters old with light brown hair, who had a new bow made out of yew with a deer hide string. During this time he also spotted a pamphlet in the house, with a circle with two swords in it of Cobalt; the sign of the Cobalt watch. The party visits the baker, checking on the progress of the 1000-fold croissant. Shei asks about the Cobalt watch and the baker believes the man who was a member of the organization was heading towards the Northern Hills. Shei also asks if the baker has seen Fredrick and the baker says no, but Shei believes he is lying. Tak gives the locket of Kira to the baker, who was her uncle and he sees her Spirit pass on.   Heading towards the tree house that the party saw in their first adventure, they fight a trio of strange monsters. After slaying the monsters they find a strange brass pot, the Brass Pot of Death. SOlving a puzzle, the party frees the SPirit of the Tree, Eivar, and lay claim to the tree house as a base of operations.
