Side Mission: Imbalance in Scales (Episode 2) Report

General Summary

After the part rescues Lily and her son Billy, they are wisked away to their safe house, which is under the protection of the Army of Scales. While there, they question both the prostitute and her son, revealing that Sir William Forstead was preparing to send the girl and her son away. While questioning the boy, the party notices that his stuffed animal is hiding a notebook - Sir William's case notes. The notebook reveals that he has been tracking an anarchist terrorist cell, led by Aaron Dwynn, along with his compatriots; Norfling a Dwarven dissident and explosives expert, Bramtyr Whose Steel Never Rusts, the muscle; ou'Yan, a fir'Bolg assassin; He Who Never Smiles, a Scholomance Warlock; and Brandyn Morgan, a writer publisher who has been producing their pamphlets seeking for the uprooting of the monarchy and the establishing of chaos as the rule of all. The party then gets a lead from Lilly to seek out another prostitute, named Cross Eye, who might known Brandyn Morgan. After questioning her and moving her to the safe house they are led to the Sassy Octopus Inn, an upscale lodge where Morgan maybe hiding. While surveilling him, they gather intelligence that names the Regent of Scales and Captain Tristan of the Army of Scales as being involved. This leads the party to take Tristan captive while they investigate further.
