Bull Hollow Report
General Summary
It was the 17th of Aryth, 997 YK. Geth and Adolan were tracking a displacer beast that had been terrorising the hamlet of Bull Hollow when they encountered a warforged named Warden , and their mentor, an orc named Azhug.
- The group quickly dispatched the displacer beast, and then returned to the hamlet. Geth was uncomfortable around Warforged, and was grateful when Adolan suggested he go inform the innkeeper of the monsters death.
- Geth went to the inn, spotting an oily black heron in the trees on the way there. Inside the inn, Geth came face to face with Etan Bayard and Toller d'Deneith. Singe confronted Geth, but their reunion was cut short as the Bull Hole blared it's warning.
- Adolan, Warden and Azhug found Geth and Singe, and made a break for the circle of stones surrounding the Bull Hole.
- They were attacked by dolgrims and tribal humans along the way, which they dispatched.
- At the stone circle, Adolan communed with the Bull Hole and summoned an Earth Elemental.
- In the ensuing chaos, Adolan and his eagle Breek were killed by dolgrims.
- Geth took Adolan's gatekeeper stones.
- Returning to the hamlet, they saw that the inn had been overrun. Toller d'Deneith was dead.
- Along with the Earth Elemental, the surviving druids (and Geth) seemed to be turning the tide, until a Copper Dragon attacked the elemental.
- Faced with a dragon, even Singe couldn't call Geth a coward. The two stole horses and fled.
- Azhug gave Warden his gatekeeper stones, and told him that there was no sense in 3 gatekeepers dying that day. He instructed Warden to run, to inform others of what happened there.
- Warden stole one of the remaining horses and fled. He turned back just in time to see Azhug get eaten by the dragon.
- Warden escaped, and is now alone in the world.
