General Summary

14th of Eyre

• There was some discussion around where to go next, and Terfel searches Hugal's body.
• Surprise, there is a symbiont on the body. The crawling gauntlet attaches to Terfel.
• There was some debate, most of the group wants to get rid of it but they lack the means to do so. They decide to live with it for now.
• They go to the library. They search Chyrassk and find 2 large Khyber shards and 17 smaller shards. It is also wearing a Survival Mantle, which Kalshana takes.
• They briefly have a look at the books and determine this is possibly the most complete record of the Daelkyr on Eberron. They resolve to come back and read properly later.
• They proceed through the library into the Orrery, which intrigues them. They mess with the crank a bit but decide to come back and explore it properly later.
• They go back to the experimentation room and open the surrounding doors. There are two operating theatres and a storage room. Kalshana takes a bonesaw from the operating theatre, and Warden takes some tongs.
• They split the medical supplies from the store room between them.
• They explore the cells, and find the VAT storage room. Warden and Kalshana smash the VATS.
• They proceed up the stairs into the observation room. Warden takes the liquids that they think contain the dragonmarks, they split the healing potions amongst themselves and they took some of the raspberry jam.
• They see the VATS containing the symbionts and other aberrations and debate how to proceed. Terfel bargains with the crawling gauntlet, and promises to release the symbionts if the gauntlet reveals how to destroy the others.
• They cut off the nutrients to one of the intellect devourers and the grell. They end up killing the intellect devourers violently anyway.
• Kalshana and Terfel conspire, they are both in favour of releasing the symbionts. Dax' Athla and Warden are opposed.
