Session 1: "Setting Off" - Post Game Report
General Summary
While Eron decided to set sail for the next town on his family's ship, the rest of the Sunrise Expedition set out overland towards Traderport. It was slow going at first, with the party encountering the first bits of true wilderness. First, Tyra lost sight of the path after a forced march through the rain, and insisted on continuing onward into the late afternoon to get back on track. Though Aurelian noticed she was doubling back, he did not let the others know what had happened. Then, upon traversing the rolling hills in the middle of the trail, the party spotting a group of Goblin scouts. Realizing they would be setting up an ambush, Tyra had the group hold, and set an aggressive watch over night, guessing the Goblins would attack under cover of darkness. The plan paid off as they spotted the raiding party early before it reached the camp. Tyra proved her mettle as a fighter, smashing apart two goblins, and incapacitating a 3rd. Aurelian mortally wounded a goblin himself before being incapacitated, though Milo was able to stabilize him. Adastros was able to scare the remaining goblin away with his crossbow. Upon searching the goblins, they found copper coins, of a minting none of them recognized. While continuing they stumbled upon a large clearing with stones set up for some mysterious purpose. While Adastros was able to identify a scroll with a spell imprinted upon it, the party decided not to linger, lest they find out the stone's true purpose first hand. The party also ran into a group of traders and their guards heading back to Troll Hall, who told them goblin ambushes were becoming more frequent lately. Traderport now lies in the distance, and they have arrived at their destination. Eron should be waiting for them at the only inn the town has - Three Wolves Inn.
