Session 11b: Quixy and the Underpass Report

General Summary

LAKE PARK AND PREPARATION   Rogue and Kane head to the Lake Park to meet with a contact there and discuss the plan to stope the meeting between Hakeem Abib, Quixy, and the Red Chrome Legion.     At the park, Kane watches as Rogue approaches and speaks to the Rain Man.   Rogue asks him if someone is following him. The Rain Man told rogue that logistics show increased traffic from Arasaka, HK Global, and the NC Government. They are not increasing other deliveries or maneuvers, so they must be looking for something.   Kane talks to the Rain Man and asks him that he believes he is supposed to talk to him. The Rain Man tells him that he has sent no messages and has no requests, so it can't be him that he is supposed to be talking with. Kane notices while speaking with him that on his arm is the tattoo SPARTA-13.   After their talk, Kane's speaks with Rogue and realizes that he is the one who slipped the message in his pocket. Rogue requests help with tagging Quixy and the RCL with a bio-tracking marker that he can use to follow them and learn about their business.   After getting supplies and preparing for the mission, including a specialized weapon from Short Circuit, Kane goes to examine the site at which the deal will take place, the Underpass, Kane returns to Rogue and gives him his professional opinion, its a bad plan. Kane tries to talk Rogue out of the mission, but ultimately Rogue goes through with it and Kane heads off to move hotels.   Rogue calls Anthony 'Tony' Lucessi for help. Tony gives rogue an address in the ware house district to meet him. After negotiating a price, and mentioning his past as part of the Lucessi crime family, they load into Tony's armored car and head for the underpass.   THE UNDERPASS   As Tony and Rogue approach the underpass, they see Hakeem Abib's table setup in the middle of the street on the underpass and multiple transport trucks. Additionally they see Quixy and another woman with glowing eyes sitting at the deal table, and multiple armed members of the RCL, including the one who supposedly killed his mentor.   AS the car approaches, Hakeem slams the table, half of it lifting up to act as a shield. Tony, with an expertise of having done this before, lines up Rogue for a shot, which he takes with pristine accuracy hitting both Quixy and the individual who is closing the deal for the RCL, a woman with glowing eyes. While Quixy was hit directly in the chest and arm, the other woman was hit in the face.   After returning back to Tony's hideout, he offers Rogue a glass of good celebratory whiskey, and Rogue tells him he left his payment in the car. 1500eb. Rogue also leaves the disguise helmet he wore with Tony.   As rogue walks out of the warehouse, he notices the damage on his armor, showing just how close he was to getting shot.
