Session 18: Unlikely Allies
General Summary
Previous Session: Session 17: Silk Guild 2
Glen kills most of the bandits, Erlenwald knocks the captain unconscious, Skha'k eats the head off one of the bandits
Muda accidentally kills an unconscious bandit and throws the body into the forest
Skha'k takes another body as food and the party grabs the captain and heads back down the road
After an hour of travel, the party questions the captives
The party finds that the bandits only know the supervisor as their weapon dealer
Skha'k bites the captain's dominant thumb off before they let him leave into the forest
The party questions the supervisor about who Zesto is and why he is working with bandits
The supervisor wants to have the party get rid of the bandits for him, and he won't tell the guards about what they did to the guild
Willow and Jaraleto come up with the plan to blame the bandits if the building was on fire
On the way back to the village, the paladins confront Glen on his killing
The paladins agree to let him be and simply control their own actions
The party reaches Mariam and a guard stops the cart
The supervisor explains how the guild had been attacked by bandits and the party had escorted him out secretly, and now they had returned to deal with them. He also said for the guard to not worry as it was strictly guild business, and the guard let them in
The party went to the Silk Guild and found one employee sitting at the front desk, asking Seramon what had happened
Seramon explains everything and tells him to clean up the mess, while the Lads deal with their problem
He leads the party to the rug display room and has the paladins move a table on the western wall
He then pulls away a floor rug to reveal a large, hidden trapdoor
The Lads take their positions as Seramon opens the door and hides
They make their way down the stairs as they kill the bandits, Muda knocking one unconscious
The paladins and Glen begin spreading out to attack, Glen decaying one unlucky bandit
