Session 1 Report

General Summary

We playout the prequel when our party members are 8 years old. They head to the woods to investigate a 'funny' occurance. They see a wall of thorned vines, and after Ophelia sees some chicken foot-prints (believing it to be coopers, her brother) heading into the blighted woods region, the party head in to look for him. Ophelia is hearing whispers. She eventually makes out that they are saying "mother", just before she sees an eyeball on one of the vines staring at her. The eyeball closes and disappears, but not before Ophelia also sees it.   As they search for Cooper, an elderly human man appears from the bushes. He is struck by Asog with a well placed slingshot shot, and then punched (critted) in the balls by Icarus. They pin him down and begin to interrogate him, before he uses magic to escape the dogpile of children atop of him. He shoos away a wolf with a half-melted face, befoe urging the children to come with him to safety.   Leading them through a magic door to his tower, he introduced himself as Uriel. After some childish questioning and giving them some sweets...

... he shows them some magic and Zolv and Ophelia manage to produce a few sparks trying to replicate what he did. Impressed by their ability, he offers to try and train them all in the art of magic. He gives them all a crystal necklace, warning them to keep in on them, and not to approach his tower without it, before leading them home.   We RP some of the family interactions before ending the session.
