Session 016 Report: War Council

Synopsis

The party found themselves surrounded by some notably angry Drow and, more distressingly, Phoenixes. They demanded to know why a group of outsiders had made their way to their home. After minutes of hostile questioning, they lowered their weapons and revealed that they already knew why they were there, and they had been putting on a show to scare High Sipaki Pushkrimp into being more selective of whom he shared the Church of Elendar's secrets with.   They permitted Wirin and Sarea into the church while keeping the others outside. It was there revealed that Thalia, bride of Elendar, is the one that empowers the clerics who worship her spouse. It was confirmed that Wirin is a close blood descendant to the reincarnation of their own child, who was sent forward in time after betraying, and killing, their parents. Sarea had a private conversation with Thalia.   The party returned to the Orcish outpost and spent two nights before being summoned to a war council. Pushkrimp, Fannybaws, Ukbluk, as well as the leader from the Sanctum of the Silver Dawn were all in attendance as a war plan was lain out. The party was tasked with destroying the necromantic pillars in order to nullify Zalim Alov as a threat. They then met Zug Zug, the High Ugaarsi, who has been tasked with taking down the black Phoenix. And so the party has one night before the march to war...
