The Corruption of the Windlands

The gateway to the spirits has opened once again, but there is more than just spirits that enter. The land of Adhair is oblivious to what evil has befallen it and of those who seek to overthrow the ancient empire. For each day their influence grows, and soon these newcomers will seize the land, leaving only a smoldering ruin.   Unaware of the presence of these creatures, some human lords engage in a rebellion against the empire. Discontent with the demands from a centralized government they have allied together to once more become their own self governing fuedal kingdoms.   Adhair is ripe for conquest.   Meanwhile, travellers from distant nations are invited to Hospana on the southeastern border. What they have in common is that they were once had business with the late dutchess Lady Cestine.
