Session 7 - New Horizons Report

General Summary

The night was restful for all but Malar Naskin who sat waiting for dawn and contemplated the situation they'd been thrust into. When the sun finally started to lighten the sky he burst into action by waking Struth Hackett. After some quick instruction, Struth headed downstairs with the intent to bring the dwarf, Kadu into the discussion.   After some hot cups of coffee and a back and forth everyone assembled in the dining room of The Red Dragon Inn(Alisar), for next steps!   It was quickly decided that rescuing the dwarfs from The Elder Brotherhood was primary concern as well as breaking into the The Great Alisar Catacombs and deviding the riches, but first they must sevail the The Library.   Behind disguises Gabriel 'Gayle' Garcìa and Petros head to the Library, while the others hide amongst the buildings awaiting a signal of distress.   Once in the Library Gabe and Petros quickly gain the trust of the old librarians, Birtha and Girtha, being that they appear to be a scholar and his disciple it's easy enough to fall into the role. The Librarian showed them around, noting the important parts of the building, entrances, secrets, and the access point to the Catacombs. It's here that she reveals that The Elder Brotherhood has yet to crack the code, it would seem that the Brotherhood has not yet gained access, perhaps they're missing a vital clue to unlocking the door.   With a great deal of cunning Petros is able to decern that the enemy has indeed captured the dwarfs' companions and is now holding them at HQ. In an effort to gain more information Gabe and Petros have agreed to stay and talk more in a central room of the library.   Wishing to get a better look at this odd room Gabe distracts Birtha and Girtha, and while the old crone is away he takes a look...

Missions/Quests Completed

You've formed into a functioning group that are starting to identify each character's strengths, and most importantly you're playing to them. You've discovered that the Old Crones at the library work for the Brotherhood and that they have indeed captured the dwarves. You also now know that the brotherhood has not gained access to the Catacombs, but is one of their primary goals. Petros may have also managed to remember the order of books to remove to gain access to the hidden door, time will tell.
