Session 37: Dungeon Break

General Summary

Elios, now calling himself the Lord of Storms, talked to the party for a while. He seemed intent on capturing the whole Damarien family and Delirium Travelling Troupe and making them suffer for their abandoning of him when he was pushed off the Rashtara Span. He saw Rome as the first one to abandon him, despite her pleas of how she was kidnapped. Elios quickly tired of talking and left the dungeon, leaving the party in one cell where they could see Thefir, Morran, and Erris in another cell farther down the block.   The party used extreme strength and skill to slowly break out of their manacles, and then their cell, also freeing the Damariens. Using poker chips from the group, Rome took her family to the Windward Serpent and left them there, bringing Viridian back with her. Viridian immediately left to inform General Dodonga in the Moonguard Forward Camp about the party's situation, Elios' identify, and Rome's family's capture.   The party investigated another block of cells, freeing a trio of Moonguard scouts, then ascended a spiral staircase between the two cell blocks, finding three locked doors and an open door to a barracks. Opening one of the locked doors, the party discovered the armory, regaining their weapons and equipping the scouts as well. Ascending once more, the party walked into a dining hall with a crumbled roof, attracting the attention of a toxic troll who entered through the opposite double doors. Entering combat, the party began to fight the troll, also attracting the attention of a giant tree in a far corner of the room.
