GM-Block NPC-RPG Collapsible Hide Hidden Invisible

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

When a GM enters information into the "RPG NPC" section it creates a large block of information that is visible to the author even in "View World" mode. This can make it difficult to manage information on a Character's page and makes it hard to view the article as a non-author would for proofing/quality.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

A collapsible option would make it so that both of the above issues are addressed. It would allow a GM to focus on publicly available information at a moment's notice. In addition, it would allow for quick proofing of articles after editing without having to scroll down.

There are two examples present in WA at the moment:

Show Template Specific Prompts and Connections

This tab is available on the editing page for most articles now. It allows an author to hide the many available categories of information specific to each article template while working on the article.

By allowing this functionality in the author-side it would accomplish a similar goal. While allowing it on the View World side would meet the needs of the aforementioned lack of functionality.

Block Visibility Toggles

All of the content blocks in articles now have a visibility toggle that allows an author to hide the block and its contents from viewers. The RPG NPC block has this by default. BUT... if the toggle hid the entire block from the GM on both sides of WA it would accomplish the needed functionality.

What are other uses for this feature request?

Once the functionality to render a block invisible on both sides was in place I imagine it would not be difficult to roll it out to all blocks or even specific ones that would improve its use.

The Team's Response

This suggestion did not gather enough support during its voting time.   Due to the fact this is a minor change and there were no negative votes, it will be accepted.
