map-markers
When zooming in or out of a map, the markers remain the same size. When zoomed out, the icons are very large in comparison to the map, while when zoomed in the marker is better fitted to the map view   To either allow the markers to be dynamic and resize depending on zoom or enable markers to show up only at swpecified zoom levels   This will allow for map markers to be used in a more convenient manner that takes into acount the size (zoom) of the map

Resizing or appearance at specific zoom level. Difficult choice; both are great ideas, though I lean toward: Appearance at a specific zoom level.

I will say yes, but with the stipulation that I is a quality of life thing, not a big thing. I hope if this would be a tangly mess or otherwise a pain in the arse of effort that Dimi and the team let this simply sit and either not do it, or table it as low priority. It is definitively not a big deal, in my mind. Pretty idea, would be nice, but ultimately not something worth much sweat or frustration to implement if that's what it would take.

This is something I've been wanting for a long time. As it is, the map pins/markers are really unattractive, in my opinion, and the fact that they do not scale when the map is zoomed in/out is the main reason for that. I've been changing my map markers to 8px circles to avoid the problem, but that isn't really a very satisfactory solution. I started looking into CSS to fix it, but if using CSS to fix it works at all, it will likely be pretty complicated.

Being able to change the marker size would be helpful when in areas crowded with many points of interest.

If resizing is not possible, I'd like to be able to toggle which markers disappear when zoomed out at certain zoom levels (like how Google maps works)

The markers, when zoomed out, being so big, makes maps look very messy and cluttered, plus if there are a lot of markers, they might hide a whole lot, making it hard to see the map overall.
