Playlists Music Diegetic-Music Composition Article-Feature
Music plays a large part in many campaigns and stories. For some this music might be necessary in order to set the tone of specific article. For those who make use of diegetic music (such as myself) it is even more critical to the presentation of the world. For this reason I would like to propose in article playlists.
Playlists are already available to World Anvil users through the Real World Meta Data feature, but this only allows for playlists to reference the world as a whole. If the option to include playlists and songs directly to articles was added, then the community of users on World Anvil would be able to have finer control of the way music is presented in their world. This would also allow for easier uploads if a writer took the Tolkein approach towards music, and wanted to document all of the songs that they wrote to accompany their story.
In terms of how this all could work, I believe that this system should include the option to play automatically when an article is opened, I believe that this system should allow for a mature content warning separate from the article itself, and the media player should be compatible with at least Soundcloud, Spotify, and Youtube.
Thank you for considering my proposal, and I look forward to receiving the public's verdict on this proposal.

Autoplay is not an option I will be implementing at any point.
Regarding playlists, why not use the spotify component to create and add them to World Anvil? In theory also you can use the Variables system to create lists and share them as you see fit - if this is an issue of me not understanding the suggestion please feel free to contact me on #developmemnt-discussion
