author author-name pseudonym
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I'd like to be able to write different projects on my account without linking them together or to my main Worldanvil username. As an author, I have some projects that I want to be linked or don't mind being linked to my fairly "public" pseudonym, and some that I would like to keep separate. Additionally, I have worlds I don't want to be linked by a shared author name. For instance, I provide access and share my main RPG world with many people in my life, but I have several other projects I don't want those real-life people to stumble onto.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
An ability to create projects under a secondary pseudonym that doesn't link back to my main account in any searchable or public way, and that allows me to comment on articles/interact with readers on that specific world under the secondary pseudonym is what I am looking for.
What are other uses for this feature request?
This feature would also allow users with fairly popular/public/mainstream projects to separate new, different, or experimental content from their established image.
Follow up
To address the comment below:
It is against WA's TOS to have more than one account, so that is not a solution at all. It's also not really fair to ask someone to pay a full sub fee twice, or in everyone's budget to do so. I *would* be willing to pay a small additional fee for the use of a pseudonym.
The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! While we understand where you're coming from, it's a very complicated feature to implement for the low amount of support it got.
