Notebook Feature-Upgrade Copying Template

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

I have made a "template" notebook with sections that I wish to reuse repeatedly, in this specific case notebooks dedicated to sessions in my game with different sections for things like New Characters, New Locations, etc. Currently to make a notebook for a new section, I have to manually enter all of my notebook's sections which feels clunky and a bit of a time waster. Allowing me to copy a notebook and its sections would save a good amount of time and allow me to have more consistent notes.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Allowing us to copy a notebook and its sections would save a good amount of time and allow us to have more consistent notes.

What are other uses for this feature request?

Generally this is mostly single use, being able to copy notebooks allows you to make more notebooks based on the same template. That said, this can be infinitely useful depending on how users format their notebooks.

Follow up

So, just to address the negative votes' question. The DM screen notes are a completely separate feature than articles, and I want to be able to quickly jot notes with that feature as opposed to making articles for it. These two features are used in completely different ways.

The Team's Response

Hmmm I am not sure but this looks like a mis-titling? Is this a request to create Notebook Templates? We can do that - it will need a bit more support but I think that if this is re-suggested with the correct title it might get more support.

This actually makes a lot of sense - if you have a note template you follow for your GMing sessions, having a template as a starting point would be really helpful.

I mean thats what custom article templates are for. Can't you just use those?
