What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
In old version of Articles, there was possibility to order Articles in custom order which was something I used a lot. In current state it is not possible to order articles in custom order and they are always sorted by alphabetical order. (At least it seems so)How does this feature request address the current situation?
I'd like to have option to sort articles by another ordering - at least timestamp in both direction. In ideal state in custom order as I need them to be sorted.What are other uses for this feature request?
Alphabetical order is sometimes not the best order in which articles can be displayed.The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! This has been implemented. Click on a category, and in the main area of the interface use drag-and-drop to reposition articles within the category's article list widget.

on 2025-11-06 21:59This is already planned as a feature of categories (rearranging articles under that category). In the meantime, you can open the old version edit to use the Position field, in the Navigation tab.
