Import -bulk-upload data-manipulation -data-parsing

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

I have flitted between numerous campaign management tools and have a wealth of data in various formats, there is no real way to add it en masse or without a LOT of manual input.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

A template doc, online form or code based parsing of the information to multiple seperat articles would be amazing. Obsidian.md and even Realmworks have the functionality already and is amazing, so it is achievable. I would love to see it here.

What are other uses for this feature request?   At the very least, populating an article with a name and dumping the rest of the information into the main description/summary section would be great for getting everything in system.   Ideally smarter parsing of the data would be the natural evolution and shouldn't be too much of a leap once the initial logic is in place.

Such a general data import tool is hard to make useful. Obsidian is a very different use case. This is why World Anvil has an API. Meaning it is up to the community to create tools that can do this!   "Smarter parsing" is actually one of the hardest problems in digital spaces...
