Words -manuscript count editing progress
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
There is currently no way of knowing how many new words you have typed in a session when on manuscripts.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Adding this feature would make it possible to track how many new words you have typed which can both be motivating and be helpful when taking part in word sprints.What are other uses for this feature request?

Happy new year! Manuscripts are getting a complete redesign very soon but manuscripts already have a way to see your progression on the statistics panel per day. I am not sure how to define a "session" unless new functionality is added to start/end a session and then record the difference in words - but this feels cumbersome and quite frustrating if you forget to begin a session. So day by day is what we have, if we you want something different please re-write the suggestion with more specificity or come to talk to me on Discord about it with your suggestion.
