What functionality is missing?
(For mobile users only) would like the hamburger menu to always default to closed until manually opened by the user. (Desktop behaviour remains as is, no need to change that)What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
When navigating around Worldanvil admin and dashboard on mobile: 1. you need to expand the hamburger menu to access most of the tools, and click whichever one you want (this step is fine). 2. It loads the page, the menu is now expanded by default (because on desktop this makes more sense), but on mobile it takes up most of the viewing area and you can't do the thing. 3. You then need to collapse it to do whatever you need to do. 4. Repeat... It gets frustrating when navigating around the admin interface on mobile as every time you do, the step 2-3 of the experience above gets in the way each time.How does this feature request address the current situation?
On mobile, you would be able to navigate to different screens without having to repeatedly close the menu because it is in the way.What are other uses for this feature request?
Its just a small quality of life improvment. More could be done for the mobile epxerience, but this one seems like a simple thing that could be done while more considered changes happen in the backgroundThe Team's Response

on 2023-10-06 20:20this would be a nice idea, but the team has previously expressed not putting much effort into mobil site optimization until they release the app. Uncertain though if the sentiment has changed now since there is a larger team.
