  Having every pin for every location in the world all in your face when zoomed out makes having one map for things very difficult.

  I would LOVE this. but i can understand how other features may be further up the line. some maps can get complicated quickly. eg. a battleground, or a scifi tablet app that shows the tourist map for all the yummy things in the area.

  I like the idea of this but im pretty sure there's some limitation as these types of suggestions come up often. An alternative to what you want would be to use Marker groups to allow markers to be toggleable
