What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently in Images we have a URL Redirect feature that allows you to redirect an image to a specific page on click. This functionality does not extend to the Image Galleryes you can place at the bottom of articles. This is an inconsistant experience as the carousel and Galleries are basically the same (Image browser) but in different formats (single vs multiple views). The other missing/difference is that the carousel also adds a name to the image whereas the Gallery does not. Would be nice to have if both were the same, but the redirect is probably the more crucial.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Allows for a consistant experience when working with Galleries.What are other uses for this feature request?
Inventories, Character Rosters, Scenic views of geography, etc. All pointing back to the main information source article and not individual image pieces. Also allows for keeping of the specific image information that DMs or other moderators might need (via the nice new UI), seperate from the story/quest. Note: I hope this is good.. my first suggestion. :)Follow up

BTW, so this functionality (redirect) seems to only work in Carousel and a direct IMG, but not in Related Gallery or in IMGBLOCK
