character-building species multi-species

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Right now, Characters can only be one species, but I want to make a character that's half-fairy, I can't do that.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Right now, we can do the KEY VALUE system (see the BBCode guide of the World Anvil Codex) to simulate the Species section of the template, right now there is only the option to choose one Species.

What are other uses for this feature request?

This is a specific field of the Character template, but this can also be used to show physiological history. If a character is a vampire but used to be a human, this can come in handy with showing what a person was before the transformation.

The Team's Response

Half-anything species are a species on their own right. A single organism cannot have two species. Simply put a half elf is is not EVERYTHING a human is and EVERYTHING an elf is. They are something that came from two other species (which is already possible) with its own properties.
