What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
If you are a person who uses subcategories/subfolders liberally to organise your world notes, you will have noticed that the World Codex/ToC/Categories List will reset each time you refresh or navigate away from the page.This can make the process of writing and editing articles tedious (especially when you want to edit multiple articles in the same subcategory, but don't want to (or forget to) open up each article in a new browser tab) as you then have to navigate through all of your subcategories/subfolders to access other articles in the same subcategory.
It can also majorly slow down and interrupt the creative process.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Having the option to fully expand your World Codex/ToC/Categories List, either temporarily with an "Expand All" button, or permanently as a selectable setting would alleviate this issue and make the process of writing and editing articles much more efficient and streamlined, with minimal interruptions.What are other uses for this feature request?
This is a fairly specific solution for a fairly specific problem. However, for some users, the ability to have a fully expanded World Codex/ToC/Categories List may also help to enhance the presentation and/or aesthetic of their World, particularly with the ability to include Font Awesome and RPG Awesome icons in each category's styling.The Team's Response
I will be happy to consider a fully expanded CATEGORIES list, but this has gotten hardly any support from the community
