Organization Clean-Up
I was working in the organization area and found that there are several types which are duplicated but with slightly different names. Also any a great many which are not included. For Example you have Geopolitical: Nomadic Tribe, And Geopolitical: Tribe   While there are different, the differences are very small. There are others such as Country, Kingdom and Empire. While again they are technically different, for organization purposes it would be better to roll them into just Country.   There are even several types of governments listed. But there are a lot of governments not listed. There are so many governments and variations of those governments that I think it would be better to roll all of them into just a single type. Then let the creator manually put in what kind of government it is. As I once found a document listing over 112 different basic forms of government.   This will reduce confusion when picking the type and it will also clean up the interface at least in this area.

    To fix this problem for yourself you could use catagories, instead of taking away options for others.

    Small differences are important for many people, especially for those who bother to research them and how the nuances influence geopolitics. Please don't suggest taking options away from people just because you don't care about the differences.   I agree more manual entries would be good, but I can never support a vote that wants to take things away from people. You say this will reduce confusion but I'm not convinced at all.   The suggestion that people should go out of their way to mark the differences in the name of said organization is just unrealistic and impractical, especially for countries. As someone who takes inspiration from the real world and history for my fantasy worlds, I know that countries will rarely include their type of government in their name. We already have the options to customize this if we want, and you can ignore it if you don't care.   I'll reiterate: Please don't take away options from people. If you want a manual entry option as well, make that suggestion instead.

    The change I agree with would be changing how "goverments" are listed. There are a ton of different types of governments, as the user said, so maybe a "government" option but then "(manually type word)" option next to it or something so that you can not just specify but also define?

    I'm afraid I have to disagree with removing any of the listed options - for some worlds the distinction is highly relevant, and if it's not a relevant distinction in your world, you don't have to make it. I also personally really enjoy reading all the suggestions and getting inspiration from them. If there are missing options, then I'd be in favour of adding them. (I'd also support an option to have a blank self-complete field alongside the dropdown picklist, although I believe that's been refused in the past(?)). But please don't remove any of the present suggestions!

    Agreed, it takes up a lot of space. It would be easier if you had less. These less options would indicate what kind of organization it is and if you really want everyone to know it is an Empire, just change the name or note it somewhere.
