What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I'd like the ability to trigger the Discord webhook when viewing an article in the full world presentation mode. Currently, I have to be in the editing mode to find the option. The editor loads slower than the presentation view and it's nice to see what the non-editors will see before sending the article to them. As I'm introducing new lore to my TRPG campaign, it's really nice to ping the webhook for the related article so everyone gets a link to the article and so they can get spelling references quickly.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Having an option to trigger the default Discord webhook for the article on the article presentation page would allow me to browse the public presentation of the world and quickly share it with my TRPG community.What are other uses for this feature request?
In the future, I could imagine ways for content creators to share articles from all over World Anvil with their Discord communities with some sort of user-specific webhook configuration.The Team's Response
ACCEPTED AS A DISCUSSION It goes without saying that this will need to be an world owner-only action :) But I can see the appeal. I am not sure if the presentation page is the correct place for this. I can see it being great in
