What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently on the Vehicle Article you can have an owning organization and owner. But the captain of a ship is rarely the owner. He is the most important person on a ship, and I would hope he could be called out separately.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Adding a connection to a character improves finding important characters on a vehicle.
What are other uses for this feature request?
None, that I can think of.

Thanks for the suggestion! We will add a free-form BBCode text field to the sidebar labelled "Crew". The reason we're not adding a "captain" field is that not all crews have a leader, and not all leaders are captains. Additionally, you can also use the --KEY::VALUE-- BBCode on the sidebar to create custom fields. For example, the following code: --Captain::Spooky Bob-- Will generate the following (adapted to your world's style):

on 2023-10-22 06:29I'd use this for sure. But I also have to think about all the vehicles where they do not use 'captain' how about those? It might be easer to use the Key-Value bbcode to achieve this and be able to make it captain,skipper,pilot,driver,etc.etc.
