With Location being so broad sometimes when drafting a historical entry you may want to include the broad region if there is an article for it also the town if applicable even sometimes an entry is located at a specific landmark. Ultimately I think that this would be mostly useful for the articles themselves how they display historical entries and events that have occurred there. Sometimes an event is so significant that they define both the city is occurs in and the place it occurred like the French Revolution is equally significant for Europe and Paris.

I forgot to proofread and add like six commas. Excuse my poor prose.
The Team's Response
Thanks for your suggestion! We are accepting this for investigation, because we see the value in it despite the high technical requirements—even though the feature seems simple, one-to-many relationships are hard to implement with the current database architecture. As a workaround, you can link to articles in the event's description, and in the articles you can link to events in the sidebar using the --KEY::VALUE-- code.
