At 1080p, the subheading and Credits section of the new editor take up virtually the entire screen, forcing me to scroll immediately on every page to access the content section. Please add an option to either reorder or adjust the default size of these fields. I, for instance, don't use credits, as I work solo on the world, so this is a large amount of screen real estate that is taken up on every article edit.

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

There's several ways to address the above mentioned issue; Allowing reordering of appearance of fields in the editor, changing the default size, either globally or in settings, collapsing multi line fields that are empty with an expand option. Any would work. I think adding folding is the most elegant solution here.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

By adding folding to empty fields, or truncating the space down to the single line of fields that are empty, we would greatly reduce scrolling in the interface

What are other uses for this feature request?

By adding folding to editor fields, we could more easily navigate articles with large amounts of content in the editor

Follow up

As a clarification, my largest concern here is with the amount of vertical space being used in the edit pane by this and other fields.

The Team's Response

Thanks for the suggestion! Credits no longer appear in that position, but we're accepting this for investigation. In the meantime, you can disable expanded prompts to reduce the space taken by default prompts on article creation.
