What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

I currently have 14 variable collections in use. When viewing the list of collections in the Variables management interface, I'd like to know how many terms are in each collection. A total of existing terms in all collections would be a nice thing to track as well.   As an example, I have variable collections related to languages that are separated by general and specific uses. In deciding where to locate a new term, it would be useful to know the sizes of the relevant collections.  

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Adding a term count to the variable collection description would help track the size of collections and make decisions about where to locate a new term.  

What are other uses for this feature request?

If WA ever wishes to promote creating variables for an exercise or challenge, having the number of terms in collections (and total number) would help track for levels of use of the feature and accomplishments of challenges.
