Change of the number of displayed articles in "Recent articles" under "List" in "Articles and categories"

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

I would like to be able to see more than five articles under "list" in the "Recently updated Articles". At least 10 would be good under this "list", preferably more similar to the category of stubs, unpublished or wip. It would be ideal if you could set how many you can see in this list category or in all categories. If there really should be choices and not just put the number up, choices like "this month", "last month" or "in the last 30/60/90 days/always" would also be good.   I'm missing an easy way to track chronologically when I've updated something (even more so when I've published something). That would make it much easier for me to look back or even plan future projects, because then I wouldn't have to create help lists or tags to know what I did last. Or I wouldn't have to rely only on my memory.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

With this change, I could more easily keep track of my progress without having to resort to workarounds like reminders, lists or tags (or whatever else there might be). That would help a mess like me a lot.

What are other uses for this feature request?

Unfortunately, only more overview. But better planning helps with many things. And even if it's just that you can then perhaps deal with the appropriately listed articles differently.   In this sense, I would really be very happy about a corresponding change - or if someone tells me that something like this can perhaps already be set up now. That would be even better, of course.

Follow up

The number of recently updated articles increased to 20. Okay, other things would be better, sure, but I think with 15 articles more and all that upcoming projects this suggestion can be closed.
