What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

  When you work with multiple timelines and dedicate certain lane of certain timeline to a particular type of events (for example, when you track multiple characters and assign a certain lane to one particular character), it can get hard to navigate, especially if you return to the chronicle after nor revisiting it for some time.  

How does this feature request address the current situation?

  Custom naming of the lanes would simplify the addition of events and general navigating across multiple lanes and timelines in the Chronicles. It can drastically improve tracking of character journeys, histories of particular places with the greater cultural context, etc.
