I find it useful, but I can see reasons for being able to hide or remove it on a by-user basis. Aside from what's already been mentioned - People that have smaller screens is another consideration. My laptop has a 720p screen and the two buttons for continue/goto does take up a lot of the sidebar.

I will agree with Ononomad on their usercase, it would be nice of it wasn't the last thing to load in when I'm working at full speed. Otherwise though, I love the feature.

I've yet to ever use this function, and doubt I ever will. I've misclicked on it a couple of times. For me it's just in the way. An option to turn it off would be great.

I don't mind the function, but would really like if it didn't load progressively and move all the other items in the menu down. The number of times i've aimed to click on 'View world' and the two links load at the last second and shunt the link out of the way and i click 'Dashboard' instead... can get frustrating. If that can't be fixed, then option to hide them cool. :-)
