Chronicles Timelines Calendars

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Having the option to have year 0 display as year 1 (and the next being year 2, etc.). Either as an option on a chronicle's timeline, calendar or the chronicle itself.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

We would be able to chose to display dates the standard way.
Idk why this is weird to some but that's not how dates work. The first day of your current era/calendar is day 1, month 1, year 1, aka the first day of the first month of the first year.

What are other uses for this feature request?

None.

I do not disagree with this at all as an idea, but it will need a lot more support to be added to the regular queue, especially since this system can be destabilized quite easily so it will need rigorous testing.

It should be an option somehow, as anything is possible in fiction. But beginning with a year 1 does seem more intuitive.

Adding a year 0 should be something to toggle on. It doesn't make sense, so it wasn't used a lot irl. But it was used occasionally, and in ficiton anything goes, so it should be an option. Not a bad suggestion
