conflict military timelines historical-entry
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently you may add characters, locations, organizations, articles, species, and session reports in the advanced options section of a historical/timeline entry, but not any related conflicts. While you can, of course, enter all the same information in the full content section that you can/did in the conflict page, it would be nice to have the ability to link a conflict article to a specific entry for further detail and/or information.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
If able to link conflict articles to historical/timeline entries it would allow for further, in-depth information to be linked to a specific entry (for those events that need it) and allows for further creative play for users. If a world has many conflicts, being able to link the conflict article to the timeline would be useful. I, personally, have a world with many conflicts and this feature would help me out greatly in linking the conflict to my timelines more directly that copy and pasting repeat information. I love that I can link locations and characters and think adding a place for conflicts would be beneficial to many world creators.
What are other uses for this feature request?
Other uses are organization and creative flow. I am sure there may be others, but I honestly can't think of any at this time. Thanks for your time. :)
Follow up
I apologize for the title mess up - I was not thinking about the quotation marks. It should read Add "Related Conflicts" to the Advanced Options for Historical/Timeline Entries. That is my mistake, and I do apologies for it.
I see this has been suggested already, and apologize. I missed it when checking for this before posting - and I did check, so there is no need to be rude with your comments that I check. Mistakes are how we grow and I made one. So you can ignore voting for this one and go vote on the other, please.
The Team's Response
Hi! This has already been suggested before. This might be added in the future, but with low priority as there's low community support and adds new connections to the database (which makes it more complex). Also, thanks for checking previous suggestions, even if you didn't find it! We appreciate it :)
