characters names
At the moment names are presented in the style of given name, middle name, family name. I imagine that many people are creating characters where this is not the cultural norm for naming, either characters from cultures such as Korea, Japan and China for example or worlds where the creators have chosen that naming style.
Currently you have to put things in the wrong name sections to get the names in the order you would like.
To make this a bit simpler I am suggesting, if it is not too complicated to achieve, something similar to the BCE dates option in the era section. You tick a box and in the article the names are presented in the style of family name, middle name, first name (or some variation of).
The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! We understand that different cultures have different orders in their names (both in the real world and in fictional worlds), but adding a free order feature like this would add too much complexity to the UX. Since these fields don't display a label, only its values, you can manually switch the values around so they display in the order you wish.
