Follow up

Adding a follow up because its just illuminated more issues that I've found.   Please add a "Are you ready to submit this post?" inquiry when making posts, because I just clicked enter by accident and it submitted my submission by accident before I had a chance to finish it.   Subsequently, What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation? When writing any content box, the hotbar above remains fixed in relation to the page. When in full screen mode, or focus mode, this bar remains fixed also. Articles with a lot of content, which involves scrolling, could benefit from a toggleable "frozen pane" option, so that you can continue to use its features even after scrolling down through the content. How does this feature request address the current situation? I am vehemtly dissatisfied with the strength of the current interface, both Source Code editing and WYSIWYG editing. Unable to paste tables from other sources, tables when edited in Source code suddenly add many lines of spacing, you have to switch between styles in order to enter a line break using enter on text (otherwise it skips beneath tables instead) etc.   I think you should also be able to hot switch the different title styles at a click of a button instead of going into source code and manually changing it, or highlighting what it currently is, selecting what it is to return it to normal text and then changing it to the title style you want.   The new UI change is nice, but there are still issues with it also. In focus mode, the side bar tabbed still leaves a visible gap on the left hand side of the screen, whereas the rest does not experience this. The floating hotbar at the top of the screen needs a hide button, as it blocks access to the editing hotbar for content entries.     I've been a subscriber to WA for years now, and accumulated 20K or so points. I'd use all of them for these issues to be fixed. What are other uses for this feature request? Quality of Life, what more do you want?

The Team's Response

Thanks for the suggestion! The top menu bar is part of the new UI upgrade, and we tweaked everything else so that it doesn't overlap with it when you're scrollbar is at the top. We don't think this is necessary, and there doesn't seem to be enough support from the community to consider it.
