Greater Polygon map marker tool functionality

Feature Upgrade · Markers creator (studio) · Created by OttoTheRogue

When using the polygon map maker tool, there is a lack of ease when edititing, removing or even placing the points of the polygon. Once a point of the polygon is placed it cannot be moved or deleted without starting the whole shape over or changing the coordinates by hand afterwards with no visual to go off of.   Draggable, deletable and more precise controls for the polygon tool would make this far easier.   All these upgrades would also allow for much more prescise markers while also allowing for easy use by newcomers to these tools.

I'll agree it would be a nice quality of life buff but I do not feel it is a huge make or break thing, and would not say I feel massively strongly about whether or not this were to ever come to fruition or that I hope even if accepted this is a like high tier priority. It would be a neat and helpful quality of life improvement though I will not deny that

I agree, it would be nice to have a way to adjust polygons without deleting the whole thing and starting over.

I am always up for greater map functionality. From what I understand there is a planned interface between World Anvil and Dungeon Fog (Project Deios)

I think having a more robust map-builder function would also take this to the next level. Something like Inkarnate or dungeonfog

Polygon markers are a huge part of how I do my maps, so I'd love to see enhancements to this feature!

It would be nice to split existing lines by adding new nodes, delete nodes and drag nodes round on the map. I fear it may be the kind of request that is much easier to ask for than to deliver, but it would be great when trying to align regions with underlying map graphics.
